A two-week cultural festival, part of the East Midlands Igniting Ambition programme and the Cultural Olympiad.
Highlights include:
- LoveSport exhibition at New Walk Museum & Art Gallery (includes new later opening hours till 7.00pm from 27th July)
- The Special Olympics Opening Ceremony, Walkers Stadium, Leicester, 25th July
- Events and activities around the big screen, Humberstone Gate
- ‘Street Style, Sports Style’ Exhibition at the Richard Attenborough Centre
- The Lyric Lounge - live poetry at the Y Theatre and a range of venues in Leicester
- Caribbean Carnival, Leicester City Centre, 1st August
