FAMILIES VISITING LEICESTER CAN GET ‘ON THE BUSES’!
Accredited families visiting Leicester for the Special Olympics can sign up for a cut price ticket which removes travel worries.
A Special Olympics ticket which is:
*Valid on all* local bus services in Leicester and the immediate suburbs
*Valid for a group of up to 4 people with SOL accreditation
*Valid from Saturday, 25th to Friday, 31st July
This ticket is available at £35 – only £5 per day

Family Bus Ticket - £35
• Valid for up to four people with SOL accreditation travelling together
• Valid on all* local bus services in Leicester and the immediate suburbs.
• Valid from Saturday 25th July to Friday 31st July.
* The ticket will be valid on local services operated by all the main bus operators in Leicester.
Adult Bus Ticket - £21
Valid as above for an individual to travel at a cost of only £21.
Opening Ceremony Shuttle Bus - £7 per car
There is limited parking near Walkers Stadium for the Opening Ceremony (See Handbook).
To provide an easy option for families there will be a special shuttle bus between a City Centre Car Park with over 1,000 spaces and Walkers Stadium for the Opening Ceremony starting from 5pm on 25th July.
Park in the City Centre and get a bus straight to and from the Walkers Stadium!
Book now - This service is for pre-booked families only, and will only operate if sufficient families book tickets for it. So if you want to miss the traffic, sign up for the Opening Ceremony upgrade at a cost of only £7 (includes parking and bus shuttle).
How to get your ticket – By post or phone
Book now and your tickets will be sent to you before the Games.
