Wednesday sees a full day of SOL events for Engelbert Humperdinck who is visiting Hope Hamilton Primary School and St Cuthberts Primary School to support the start of SO Lets Learn; the SOL Schools Education Resource Pack in schools across the city and county. Cultural Ambassador Humperdinck is joined by the Lord Mayor of Leicester, Councillor Manjula Sood.
At 6.30pm the touring party will unveil the SOL mural on Charles Street with Denni Harris who is presenting a song for SOL will be attending along with other invited guests.
The final event of a packed day will see a private dinner with Engelbert at The Quarter Restaurant hosted by the Lord Mayor, Councillor Manjula Sood and the President of Leicestershire Chamber of Commerce, Ruth Ingman. Invited guests only.
