John Amaechi, formerly of the Orlando Magic and Utah Jazz, spent Thursday putting Special Olympics basketball athletes from the East Midlands and North West region through their paces at the Amaechi Basketball Centre in Manchester.

 

After organising skill sessions and games, John stopped to sign autographs and answer questions from reporters interested in his role as a SOGB ambassador.
