Congratulations to Special Olympics athletes Peter Hirniak, Patrick Cox, Jon Court, Nick Doggett, Richard Eversfield, Lee Penfold, Zara Jurenko, Tom Styles, Rachael Jarvis, Stephen Lyne and Miriam Lyne, who will be making an appearance on stage to represent Special Olympics East Midlands region at the Leicester Mercury Sports Awards to be held on Wednesday evening at Curve. SOL ambassador Tim Stimpson will join Lee Penfold on stage to make a speech on the Games and the impact in will have on the city as well as the athletes themselves.
