Olympics Minister Applauds SO Let’s Learn

Tessa Jowell, Minister for the Olympics, was in Leicester last week to help launch the So Let’s Learn Education Resource Pack.

The pack, sponsored by Leicester City Council Sports Services “Free Swim for Children” initiative and supported by the Lord Mayor’s Appeal and the SDSA, is a resource for teachers to inspire and educate Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland students and pupils about the Special Olympics and the Games coming to the city.

SOL ambassadors Alan Birchenall, Karl Brown, Paul Nixon and Tim Stimpson also helped launch the pack ahead of the National Summer Games.
