Sisters Jean White and Mavis Manship from Leicester raised £350 for the Leicester Mercury’s Wear it with Pride Appeal for East Midlands athletes to receive new tracksuits for the Games.
To celebrate their 80th birthday this year Jean and Mavis asked for family and friends to make a donation to the appeal rather than giving them birthday presents.
A huge thank you to Jean and Mavis from the Special Olympics Leicester Team for their donation to the East Midlands teams and athletes.
