The APPLAUSE season of concerts for local charities - including Special Olympics Leicester Appeal - is underway. Next up is the last in the season of “APPLAUSE Classics”. This will be a concert of some of the most memorable classic songs and tunes from Mozart to Lloyd Webber and Puccini to Bernstein with some Walton, Chopin and Gershwin thrown in for good measure. Top performers from all over Leicester and Leicestershire performing for local good causes. Also appearing - local radio presenters Monica Winfield, Martin Ballard and Dave Andrews.
The “APPLAUSE Classics” Show is at St James the Greater on London Rd in Leicester on Saturday May 30th at 7.30pm. Tickets £8 (including refreshment) are available at the door on the night, or from the Tourist Information Office in Town Hall Square or from www.goleicestershire.com.
