The Volunteering team hit the airwaves last week to promote the volunteering opportunities at the Games and also the Community Roadshows that will be touring Leicestershire and Rutland. The first event was held in Hamilton on Tuesday with some visitors coming from Nottingham to hear about volunteering at the Games. Jim McCallum and Lynn Senior, Volunteering Directors appeared on Leicester Sound, BBC Radio Leicester and Oak FM to promote the events.
