Call for Volunteers to Make Special Games a Success
The search is on for more than 1,500 volunteers needed to help run the Special Olympics in the city next year.
People across the county are being urged to get involved with the games, which will take place in July 2009.

Lynn Senior, volunteering director for the games, said: "We really need the help of local people to make the games a success.
"This is an opportunity for people to get involved with a major national event, which will have a big impact on the lives of many people."
Volunteers are needed for a variety of tasks both before and during, the games.
