A Coffee morning was held on Saturday to raise money for the Lord Mayor of Leicester's Special Olympics Leicester Appeal.

 

The Lord Mayor's Tea Rooms at the Town Hall hosted the event on Saturday, 15th November. The event included coffee and mince pies, home-made cakes , a raffle, tom bola and a range of stalls.

 

All cash raised by the event goes to the Lord Mayor's Appeal, which is raising money for the Special Olympics, being hosted in Leicester in 2009. The event 'The Lady Mayoress's Coffee Morning' was held in honour of the Lord Mayor's Daughter-in-Law, Sheenal Sood, whose civic title is Leicester's Lady Mayoress.
