Kwik Cricket is a simple game that is suitable for all adults and children.
It is the result of many years of detailed product development and research by the England Wales Cricket Board in consultation with cricket coaches, Cricket Development Officers, education authorities, teachers and children.
The game emphasis is on participation and enjoyment. It can be played indoor and outdoor and in practise any number can play rom 2 to 32, the game is simply adapted to the particular environment in terms of time available and numbers playing.
Competition Venue
As one of English county cricket’s major first class grounds, Grace Road has so much to offer as a venue for the Kwik Cricket. It has a fantastic outdoor playing area: 150 m from Pavilion End to Bennett End of ground; 210 m from across the Milligan Road side to The Meet. In addition, the indoor cricket school has 3 nets in a complex at the Bennett End of the ground, which also houses ancillary rooms, changing rooms, viewing gallery and social area. The venue also has good disabled access and car parking facilities.
